Nominator's project description
| Professor Sladek is a highly recognised scientist in the international research community of solid mechanics, especially in computational mechanics. He is a leader and one of the pioneers in the systematic and fundamental development of the boundary element method and meshfree methods for engineering applications. In Germany, Prof. Sladek intends to optimize nanoscale structures by advanced continuum models. The molecular dynamics method will be utilized to determine the higher-order elastic and flexoelectric parameters required in constitutive equations. |
