Nominator's project description
| Professor Mats Persson received the Humboldt Award for his many seminal contributions in the field of theoretical surface science, which range from vibrational spectroscopy of single molecules to physiosorption dynamics in the quantum regime and investigation of properties of artificially assembled nanostructures. Professor Persson will continue to work on modeling and simulation of atomic and molecular manipulation during his forthcoming stays in Germany at the Free University Berlin and the Fritz Haber Institute. |
