Nominator's project description
| For his many contributions to organometallic chemistry and catalysis, particularly his pioneering studies of the use of ionic liquids for the immobilization of transition metal complexes and stabilizing media for transition metal nanoparticles, as well as his seminal investigations of the synthesis and reactivity of palladacycles, including their application as catalyst precursors for important carbon-carbon bond forming reactions. He is the most cited Brazilian chemist. |
