Nominator's project description
| Professor Tian is well known internationally for her outstanding research in early medieval Chinese literature. Her research is characterized by many extensive translations showing her commitment to the importance of transfer and the primacy of sources. During her stay in Germany, Professor Tian will study the reciprocal relationship between traumatic memories and literature in the early 6th century AD to reposition Chinese court poetry in literary history. |
