Nominator's project description

Prof. Guyer is one of the leading American Kant scholars who has published very influential books on almost all aspects of Kant's philosophical theories and their role in classical German philosophy. He has also published widely discussed work in the history of aesthetics and aesthetic theory. During his stay in Germany, Prof. Guyer plans to mainly focus on research in the history of 18th century German aesthetics.
