Nominator's project description
Professor Zwierlein is well known internationally for his seminal studies of ultracold strongly interacting Fermi gases. He has achieved important results in precision measurements of the equation of state, the observation of superfluidity, the realization of a qunatum gas microscope for fermions and the production of chemically stable polar molecules. In Germany, he mainly intends to study the supersolidity of matter and the laser cooling of polar molecules. |
