| Professor Kim is honoured for his outstanding contributions to various disciplines of civil law. One of the leading scholars of his country in the area of comparative law, he has drawn both from the common law and from civil law institutions to find appropriate solutions for Korea in a time of rapid social change. In Germany, he continues his research on comparative property law, including western and socialist property law. |
