2016: Gruber Cosmology Prize for pursuing a vision to observe the universe in grav- itational waves, leading to a first detection that emanated from the collision of two black holes. (as a member of the LIGO team)

2016: Special Breakthrough Prize in fundamental physics awarded for detection of gravitational waves 100 years after Albert Einstein predicted their existence (as a member of the LVC team)
