Nominator's project description
| Professor Raushel is an international authority in the study of the structure-function relationship of enzymes. He combines quantitative methods of classical enzymology and organic chemistry with modern techniques of molecular biology and computational biochemistry in ways that have shaped our understanding of the mode of action of enzymes significantly. During his stay in Germany, he will continue his research on enzymes from the amidohydrolase and glutamine amidotransferase families. |
