Nominator's project description
| Professor Grodzinsky is an international authority in the field of neurolinguistics bridging linguistics and neuroscience. He was one of the first to demonstrate the relevance of linguistic theory to the description of the language impairments observed in patients with focal brain damage. Using brain imaging he is among the few who investigate and localize the fine syntactic and semantic distinctions that the brain makes. In Germany, he will pursue his research and validate his brain map of syntax and semantics cross-linguistically. |
