Nominator's project description
| Professor Sarabandi is worldwide known for his fundamental contributions to electromagnetic scattering, random media modeling, wave propagation, antennas, inverse scattering problems, and microwave sensors, with applications in Remote Sensing of the earth. In Germany, he will focus his research on the application of metamaterials for the design, fabrication and testing of highly efficient conformal, minituarized antennas, an emerging field of research in electromagnetics. |
