Nominator's project description
| Professor Giamello is an international authority in the study of chemistry at solid surfaces. In particular, he has developed Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Spectroscopy as a tool to investigate the influence of surface defects on reactivity and to study their structure in unprecedented detail. During his stay in Germany, he will work on developing ESR Spectroscopy at single crystal surfaces. |
