Nominator's project description
| Professor Murakami is an international authority in the area of Organic Synthesis and Organometallic Chemistry. He developed a range of versatile methods for the activation of small molecules. Professor Murakami has made pioneering contributions to the catalytic cleavage of otherwise unreactive carbon-carbon bonds as weIl as in asymmetric catalysis. In Germany, he focuses on the development of asymmetric carbon-hydrogen activation reactions. |
