Nominator's project description

Professor Curtis is internationally well-known for her groundbreaking research in particle technology in general and powder flow in particular. She has made important contributions to modelling and simulation of size reduction and powder flow, including non-spherical particles, building on her outstanding expertise in discrete element simulation coupled with flow simulation. During her stay in Germany, she will start several collaborations, for instance on multiphase flow in mills and fracture of supraparticles.
