Nominator's project description
| Prof. Wilhelm Huck is one of the most influential scientists in the area of surface modification using macromolecules. His work stands for an exceptional synergy of outstanding performances in synthesis, microfabrication and characterization of these systems. He has opened new pathways towards establishing nanoscale films as versatile functional elements. During his stay in Germany, he will investigate the potential of polymeric brushes for applications as nanoscale actuator and sensor systems. |
