Nominator's project description
| Professor Devarajan Thirumalai is an internationally leading authority in theoretical biophysics. His work has strongly influenced our current view of how proteins and RNA manage to fold into complex three-dimensional nano-machines. In Germany, Professor Thirumalai will develop novel concepts for understanding the single-molecule mechanics of protein folding. |
