Nominator's project description
Professor Fan is an internationally reknowned scientist in the field of microfluids. He is one of the pioneers in using electrokinetic phenomena as a means to pump and separate analytes in microfluidic devices. The effort is one of the major catalysts for the explosive growth of minituarization and lab-on-a-chip research. In Germany, he will focus on the development of a microfluidics-enabled platform for the isolation and analysis of rare and smallest cell particles. |
