Nominator's project description
| Professor Lutz Lampe is well known internationally for his innovative research in the field of digital communication systems and service contributions to the research community. He has made major research contributions to several areas, ranging from fundamental coding and signaling theory to analysis of and design for powerline and ultra-wideband wireless communications systems. These are two of the most exciting emerging communication technologies of our time. During his visit in Germany, Professor Lampe will collaborate with his hosts on research problems in the area of cooperative signaling concepts in multi-terminal communication networks, with application to powerline communication and wireless sensor networks. |
