Nominator's project description

Professor Marc Henneaux is an internationally leading theoretical physicist. His research work is devoted to the study of gauge theories describing the fundamental interactions, with particular emphasis on Einstein's theory of gravity. During his stay in Germany he will pursue his studies of the Kac--Moody symmetries that might underlie a unified theory of quantum gravity and the fundamental interactions.
