Nominator's project description
| Professor Jacquot is an internationally recognized authority in the study of redox-dependent control of biological processes and the involved molecular mechanisms and structures. While focussing on plants his research strongly influences bacterial and animal sciences. Professor Jacquot combines physiological methods with molecular biology, x-ray crystallography and NMR technology. During his stay in Germany he intends to further elaborate on the evolutionary and quantitative understanding of the redox regulatory network of the cell. |
