Nominator's project description
| Professor Ronald K. Hanson is one of the pioneers of laser diagnostics in combustion. He developed laser methods that enable insight into the complex chemistry and fluid dynamics of combustion processes from laboratory-scale to practical devices. During his stay in Germany, he will continue his research on biofuel combustion chemistry and on adapting laser diagnostics to reactive systems, including the synthesis of tailor-made nanomaterials for future energy technology. |
