Nominator's project description
| Professor Robert W. Boyd is well known internationally for his outstanding research in optics in general and nonlinear optics in particular. He has made important contributions to the slowing down of light and to quantum imaging. During his stay in Germany, he intends to elaborate on quantum effects of light associated with higher order spatial modes and polarization vortices. |
