Nominator's project description
| Prof. Jeremy M. Hutson, Professor of Chemistry and Physics, Durham University, Durham, United Kingdom: Professor Jeremy M. Hutson is one of the world-leading experts on intermolecular forces in general and on the theory of collisions of ultracold molecules in particular. He has developed methods to determine globally accurate potential energy surfaces from experimental results and he has made seminal contributions to the theory of Van der Waals complexes and clusters. In Germany, he will collaborate with experimental and theoretical groups on cold collision studies and on schemes to control molecular interactions. |
