Nominator's project description
| Professor Diehl is an internationally renowned developmental psychologist and personality researcher specialized in human aging. His research focuses, broadly speaking, on social-emotional development across the adult life span. Specific topics addressed in his work are adults' personal awareness of aging; self-concept development as well as the development of coping strategies in adulthood. During his research stay in Germany, Professor Diehl will collaborate on projects related to adults' personal awareness of aging, including projects addressing the modification of adults' negative views of aging. |
