Nominator's project description

Professor Eyal Winter is internationally well known for his research in game theory, mainly applied to social choice problems, as well as for his research in experimental and behavioral economics. He is a leading scholar in trying to develop a more behaviorally, i.e. psychologically informed theory of game playing. During his research stay in Germany Professor Winter will mainly collaborate with colleagues in studying cascade formation, herding behavior and the dynamics of building up trust. Professor Eyal Winter is hosted by Professor Werner Güth at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena.
