Nominator's project description
| Professor Federico Rosei is an international authority in nanostructured materials with a focus on organic/inorganic interfaces. He has greatly contributed to the understanding of the interaction between complex organic molecules and metal substrates at the atomic scale, mostly by using scanning tunneling microscopy. In Germany he will work on supramolecular chemistry at surfaces, in particular on the extension of polymer conjugation into the second dimension. |
