Professor Boas is an internationally recognized linguist in the field of German Studies. He has contributed outstanding research in a wide array of fields, including semantics, grammar theory, computational lexicography and the documentation of endangered languages and dialect varieties. By applying his innovative method during his stay in Germany, Professor Boas will make an invaluable contribution to the success of research in language contact and multilingualism.
