Nominator's project description
| Dr Bergé is a world leader in nonlinear optics and ultrafast laser science. His pioneering work has revolutionized our understanding of laser filamentation, terahertz radiation generation, and light-matter interactions. His groundbreaking discoveries have enabled new spectroscopic and imaging tools, impacting science and society alike. In Germany, Dr Bergé will spend extended research stays in Hannover and Berlin to drive collaborative projects on the quantum modeling of laser driven secondary radiation from terahertz to X-ray frequencies. |
