Nominator's project description

Professor Mani is a leading theorist of literary cosmopolitanism and world literature in postcolonial Europe and an expert on print- and digital-cultural histories of books and libraries. His research considers historical and contemporary political realities of the world and centralizes migration as a central concept and critical practice. In Germany, he will conduct archival research for his project “Tales of Unsettlement: The Global Novel in the Age of Refugees”.
