Nominator's project description
| Professor Entman one of the most internationally renowned scholars of political communication. He has made eminent contributions to the study of media and democracy, media and foreign policy and media and race in the United States. His groundbreaking books analyse the framing of politics and the functions and (dys)functions of mediated political communication. In Germany, he intends to work on a comparative analysis on the discourse about social, economic and political inequality in European and US media. |
