Nominator's project description
| Professor Krylov is an international authority in the fields of photochemistry and photobiology. She has devised theoretical methods for molecules with unusual electronic structures that led to important advances. Most notably, she contributed substantially to the understanding of diradicals and their reactivity. During her stay in Germany, she plans to spend time at the universities of Heidelberg and Mainz, where she intends to extend her research towards decaying electronic states which play important roles in many light-activated chemical and biological processes. |
