| Professor Kataoka is an international authority in the field of polymers for biomedical applications. He has made significant contributions to the field of polymer-based nanocarriers for the tumor-directed delivery of anti-cancer drugs and of DNA for gene therapy. During his stay in Germany he plans to establish and extend collaborations with his host institutions. |
