Nominator's project description
| Professor Yiguang Ju is an internationally leading expert in the field of combustion energy. He has made lasting contributions to understanding flame initiation and propagation, including rigorous approaches to determine ignition energy, flame speeds and extinction limits. Seminal research activities also include microscale combustors, plasma-assisted processes and synthesis of photo-active nanomaterials. Professor Ju's research in Germany will be devoted to combustion diagnostics and model development. |
