Nominator's project description
| Professor Jonas Tallberg's principal area of research is global and European governance. Within this broad area, Tallberg has made internationally acknowledged contributions to four main research themes: delegation to international institutions, compliance with international rules, multilateral negotiations, and transnational actors in global governance. In Germany Professor Tallberg is collaborating with the research unit 'Transnational Conflicts and International Institutions' at the Social Science Research Center, Berlin with the aim of establishing an database platform on International Organizations. Tallberg qualifies as one of the most exciting researchers in the new generation of European social scientists. He certainly is the leading scholar of his generation in this field within Europe. |
