Nominator's project description
| Prof. Geert Bouckaert has shaped research and teaching of Public Administration and Public Management worldwide, first of all through a large number of seminal articles and books, mapping and explaining public sector reforms of the last decades. He is, amongst other, president of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences, and in Germany he intends to strengthen the interdisciplinary field of Public Administration by exploring new ways to link the many established disciplines of a modern university. He has already called this the 'Leuven-Potsdam-Perspective'. Prof. Bouckaert is hosted by Prof. Werner Jann at the Potsdam Center for Policy and Management, Faculty for Economics and Social Sciences, Potsdam University. |
