| Professor Leuz is a leading scholar in finance and accounting and internationally renowned for his outstanding research on the role of corporate disclosures, transparency and regulation in capital markets. He has made important contributions to the study of market effects of international accounting regulation. During his stay in Germany, Professor Leuz is planning to investigate regulation in over-the-counter markets as well as the effects of harmonized reporting standards on labor market mobility in the EU. |
