Nominator's project description

Professor Weyman is an internationally renowned mathematician working in commutative algebra, algebraic geometry and representation theory. He has made important contributions to the study of Schubert varieties and nilpotent orbits, quiver varieties and their relation to cluster algebras, and representations related to affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras. During his stay in Germany, Professor Weyman plans to continue his study of affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras and develop a new project concerning algebraic cobordism and deformations of Hecke algebras.
