Nominator's project description
| Professor Si is well known internationally for his outstanding research in condensed matter physics. He has made seminal contributions to the theory of quantum phase transitions and novel phases of strongly correlated electron systems. Professor Si combines a large variety of field theoretical and mathematical methods with intuitive physical insights. During his stay in Germany, he intends to explore new collaborations and new avenues of research on the physics of unconventional and high-temperature superconductivity, particularly at the border of magnetism. |
