Professor Nurit Stadler is an esteemed anthropologist and sociologist of international acclaim, widely recognized for her groundbreaking analyses of religion's influence on various societal domains. Her research illuminates the ways in which religion shapes taboos, economic practices, art, culture, cosmology, and health, particularly in the context of the modern state's transformations. During her time in Germany, Professor Stadler will pursue an innovative comparative project exploring the intersection of sacred sites, geopolitics, and national borders, contributing to a deeper understanding of the politics of religion.
