Nominator's project description
| Professor Liliane Weissberg is well known internationally for her innovative research in Jewish and Cultural Studies. She has contributed considerably to the examination of the Jewish-German Enlightenment (Haskala), the social and cultural relevance of women from the late 18th to the early 20th century, Critical Theory and Psychoanalysis. During her stay in Germany, Professor Weissberg will focus on the relation of Jewish people and money in order to curate an exhibition project for the Jewish Museum Frankfurt and publish on the topic. |
