Nominator's project description
| Professor Foley is a leading expert in the field of ecology. He has shown how genetic variation in natural populations of trees creates variable environments for browsing mammals such as koalas and how this in turn determines their reproductive success. While in Germany he will work on a project concerned with modeling future climatic effects on lemurs in Madagascar and on the molecular biology of plant scents. |
