Nominator's project description
| Professor Gasser is one of the global leaders in the field of molecular veterinary parasitology. His scientific contributions have led to cutting-edge molecular, genomic and bioinformatic technologies which provided novel diagnostic methods and intervention strategies against numerous important parasites. The collaborative research program in Germany will contribute to the development of new post-genomic biotechnological solutions alleviating human and animal suffering caused by destructive pathogens. |
