Nominator's project description
| Professor Kharzeev is one of the leading scientists in the field of high-energy nuclear physics. He has made ground-breaking contributions to the field by developing a theory for particle production in nuclear collisions and by identifying signals for novel states of matter created in such collisions. During his stay in Germany, he intends to develop a theory of a so-called "chiral fluid" interacting with electromagnetic fields and to apply it to nuclear collisions. |
