Nominator's project description

Professor de Florián is a theoretical physicist who is well known internationally for his work on particle physics. He is renowned for his precision calculations of the production of Higgs particles at modern-day particle accelerators. He has also made seminal contributions to our understanding of the inner structure of the nucleon and of atomic nuclei. During his stay in Germany, Professor de Florian intends to develop a new precision framework for the analysis of hadronic structure, by going to higher orders in QCD perturbation theory.
