Nominator's project description
| Professor Tataru is well known internationally for his outstanding research on nonlinear wave equations and unique continuation. He has made seminal contributions to wave maps and Schrödinger maps, and the mathematical study of water waves. The combination of deep insights and powerful analytic tools are characteristic for his research. During his stay in Germany, he will pursue the study of waves in a channel of finite depth. |
