Nominator's project description
| Professor Tsvelik is well known internationally for his outstanding research in theoretical condensed matter physics and related topics. He has made pioneering contributions to the development of exact methods in quantum field theory, in particular to the full understanding of the Kondo effect. Professor Tsvelik has published breakthrough papers in mathematical physics that combine sophisticated theoretical methods with intuitive understanding. During his stay in Germany, he will work on topological aspects of quantum field in theory. |
