Nominator's project description
| Professor Fred Landman of theTel Aviv University, Israel Professor Fred Landman is among the international leading scholars in formal semantics and the philosophy of language. He has made seminal contributions to several key areas of modern linguistic theory. In particular, his research on the algebraic structure of the nominal and verbal domain defined that area of our field to a considerable degree. This is also the topic of an ongoing book project that he intends to complete during his stay in Germany. Professor Landman is hosted by Professor Gerhard Jäger at Tübingen University. |
