Nominator's project description
| Professor Sasamori is well known internationally for his outstanding research in the synthesis of molecular organoelement compounds, especially of silicon and phosphorus. He has made important contributions in low-coordinated dimetallenes, analogs of benzene and naphthalene incorporating heavy tetrel elements and phosphorus-containing radialenes. During his stay in Germany, he intends to develop a synthetic approach to phosphinidenes and novel types of silicon- and phosphorus-containing hetero-allenes. |
