Nominator's project description

Professor Canadinc is internationally well known for his outstanding research in advanced metallic materials. He has made important contributions to the understanding of the micro-deformation mechanisms and the corresponding effects on the materials’ performance. Professor Canadinc combines machine learning, deformation modeling at different length scales with experimental methods. During his stay in Germany, he intends to combine the aformentioned numerical methods with experiments to design novel dental implant materials with outstanding performance.
