Nominator's project description
| Professor Sudakov is a leading international authority in combinatorics. He has made fundamental contributions to extremal graph and hypergraph theory, the theory of random structures and algorithms, as well as theoretical computer science. His work often combines purely combinatorial techniques with probabilistic or algebraic methods. During his stay in Germany, Professor Sudakov intends to investigate the conjectures of Paul Erd?s in Ramsey- and Turán-theory concerning sparse graphs. |
